Organelle crosstalk in disease
Metabolism and innate immunity through the lens of lipids and membranes.
At the IGBMC in Strasbourg, the Ricci Lab explores how membranes and organelles orchestrate inflammation and metabolic control. By examining inflammasome assembly in macrophages, neuroendocrine regulation in the hypothalamus, and insulin secretion in beta cells, we aim to uncover shared principles of membrane and organelle function in health and disease. Our mission is to translate these insights into novel strategies against chronic inflammatory and metabolic diseases.
